I found a large handful of new recipes to try. With a new cast iron skillet I was looking for some family friendly meals for my family. The recipes are fairly straightforward without the elaborate preparation and instructions necessary in some cookbooks I've seen. Every recipe is accompanied by a color photo. Hmmmm. Someone said this was their favorite cookbook so I decided to give it a shot. I have several recipes marked to try but so far it appears the book and the recipes are pretty average. I guess I'll see after I use it for a while.

I want to make almost every recipe. Of course making the breakfast one I'll have to invite friends over since the serve at least 8 people, but that shouldn't be a problem. I love my iron pans and I use them all the time and this book is putting them to good use. Great book. I want to make almost every recipe. Jessica and Tyler Braun recommended this book on their YouTube channels so I had to pick it up. There are a lot of good recipes in here, but I find most of them to be a little on the bland side. I recommend adding garlic, salt, pepper, or any other seasonings you like as you go with pretty much everything in here.
